Which would be more reliable control for multiple 12vdc solenoids approx 1.8amps ea & two pumps approx 12vdc @ 6amps ea

    None of those. Choose a 3.3 logic level MOSFET and it doesn't have to be physically big, it just needs to be fully turned on at logic levels with a low RDS(on). Sure, you can use those to220 monsters like the irf3708 iirc but there are better ones too.

    Correction - 5V logic for the BS2
    Here's an example of the type of MOSFET it could be, there are many to choose from. The pumps could have a rather high starting current, you need to allow for that.

    BTW, you edited your original post and removed references to the devices you listed but still asked "which would be more reliable". Best not to edit like this, add, but do not remove.
