  I don't have the pcb in question. However, the "normal" way is for the contacts to face the pcb (so normally down) and in first. There is a little raised section at the end of the uSD card which allows you to grab the card to pull it out (this is what I use on my pcbs) if it is not the push-in to eject type.

  I don't believe you can purchase a new one anymore. I think Gadget Gangster quietly went away.
