  Yeah, I just heard the fireworks in downtown Port Townsend. Cripes! You know you live in a retirement mecca when the New Year's Eve fireworks go off at 9 p.m!

  Yeah, I just watched the fireworks in downtown Baltimore and New York on the TV and you're not only one.

  Ummm.... It isn't New Years here until the first week in February --- at least that is Chinese point of view. It just is the beginning of tax season.
