  I have been wondering about this myself. The site calls these "User Titles". There are currently three titles defined:
  
  Junior Member [0 - 29 posts]
  Member [30 - 99 posts]
  Senior Member [100+ posts]
  
  I sure would like to rework this list to expand the number of titles to 5 and the number of posts required to receive advanced titles and recognize the amazing amount of effort some of our members expend on this site.

  I believe that statistics are no updated in real time. Doing so would really load up the database. Which really means that your post count will go up by one - eventually.
