it took a little getting use to for me but I think it is better then the old in every way except 1. all old links are broken with this version and the redirect messages slow things down especially on a cell phone.
BTW I LOVE how the upper left Parallax Icon logo takes you to the main menu of the fourm .
Nah, that logo should take you to Parallax.com when clicked (IMNSHO). Just below that logo there already exists links to take you to the main forum menu, or higher up in the forum menus, which is more useful than always going to the main menu.
I miss the easy way to the Parallax site by clicking the icon which now directs to the forum
perhaps a link on each page?
It makes it easier to look up stuff when answering questions.

The redirect page was put in place to provide a visual cue that something good happened with your post or other activity. It has been disabled. Let's see if it makes a difference.

The drop-down used to navigate to another forum is now near the bottom on the page. Now before the "scroll down = bad" crowd kicks in, we need to find out if that page element is mobile. We'll figure that out with the new supplemental skins.
We're working on a set of solutions to correct the broken link issue. It's complicated so it may take a few days.
So basically to fix this, you would need a redirect on the old page to the new page minus the /forums after parallax.com and with the new record number. Correct?
But I would not think the old record numbers would easily map to the new numbers. Not a simple add or subtract sort of thing!
Another way to handle this would be to write a program which would grab the subject line of the old post, then write a redirect link on the old page to a google.com exact phrase search of that subject with site:forums.parallax.com as a search parameter.
The above search does not find the post on the new site yet, but I imagine as google spiders the new site, the old posts will pop up.
The other option is to redirect to the new forum search, but it might choke on special characters like , > " etc. Or not use the entire name. Or not use an exact phrase.
Here are the search results for the above subject using the new forum search...

New format is great, working search tool is very nice. But what to do with all the dead links in the old forum...?

Then all of this would have been transferred to a new database and each thread would now have a new different record number...
For example the thread:Best solution for a Propeller Database: FSRW->SD, SettingsOBJ->EEPROM, ROMEngine->EEPROM"...
Old link "googalized"...

Anyway solutions to this are quite possible! The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : Best, for, a, "SettingsOBJ->EEPROM,"
