All-in-one software

Hello All,

Who has found the BEST Business ALL-IN-ONE software solution to run their small (5 max.) employee business. My head is spinning trying to find the best one. When I say ALL-IN-ONE I mean track employee's/payroll,taxes/inventory shipping/receiving/print shipping label/A/R,GL/low stock, invoice, payable, link to vendor/CREDIT Card Readers/checks in real time and MOST important, take orders/data from my website to link into this package. I don't need a custom $10,000.00 or $1000.00 package. I want to be able to seamlessly to take orders from the web or walk ups(maybe) and not go through a bunch of cross checks and at the same time have all the Double Entries work like they should(inventory/low/bank reconcile...etc).

I'm a big opensource fan but the GNUCASH program made me nervous so I shied away from it.

Anyone that's got some knowledge in this area chime in. QuickBooks my be the best thing out there, I don't know.

Thanks for any input and/or software to review

Howard

This might help. Not "all-in-one" but workable. blog.makezine.com/archive/2010/03/maker_business_adafruit_industries.html or you could get quickbooks

This is one of those things where you can wriggle here, and wriggle there, but it is hard to get around using intuit. I have been using quickbooks for ages, and don't begin to desire to learn anything else. It will most of what you ask, but I am not sure about this - "take orders/data from my website to link into this package."

I think when you move away from quickbooks, you will lose ease of use, and the familiar easy register window. (At least according to my father)

All the programs out there really want you to be on the payroll subscription, which doesn't hardly pay in my opinion unless you have more than a couple employees.

I use (and really like) MYOB. I think it will do all those things you want it to.

Thanks for the quick replies. If your selling from the Web, do you really need a credit card terminal and if so which one do you(all) use? I keep getting these small post cards with different readers on them with different offering(bank card usa /the merchant services co / innovative merchant solution). Some of these say free setup/merchant account/ and monthly service for 2 months). whats your thoughts? Maybe I'll go back to PayPal and just set every thing up there.

Thanks again for all help and any more

    Howard

    PS:

Phil is that the name of the Program "MYOB"?
