Hacking a Video Camera --> Battery ID Assistance?
Hello,
I found this inside my tiny video camera (which quit working) and I'd like to replace it with a voltage source that's similar.
I'm guessing it's a single cell lithium polymer battery. If so, would this mean I need to provide about 3 or 4 volts AC?
Thank you,
Scope

Yes, I'm familiar w/lipos and I have a "decent" lipo charger as well as an excellent lipo charger. This battery has been "puffed" so, it's no longer usable.
There is no number for this camera - it was cheap-cheap and the tiny page of "instructions" were almost incomprehensible (legibility was not a problem).
I will try poking around the web to see what I may find - thanks again.

. . . ok . . . I got off my rear end and did a Google search . . . so exhausting - I need a nap . . . when searching for "501646 battery" I found this link which has it listed, so the battery must be 3.7V DC (searching this page for "501646" lists the voltage & amp hours):

Now, I will try to locate a suitable 3 or 4 volt power supply and get this thing running again - hopefully.
Thanks
