Somebody needs to fix the search!

  No. But I can believe that forum search simply doesn't work. Well, okay, that's a long-known, well-documented, and exhaustively discussed fact of this forum, which I'm surprised -- shocked, really -- that you're only now discovering.
  
  Use Google, and include the phrase: site:forums.parallax.com among the search terms. You'll have much better success!

  Thanks Phil, I use the Google site workaround all the time. I was just griping that it's a long-known, well-documented, and exhaustively discussed fact of this forum, which I'm surprised -- shocked, really -- has never been fixed or at least removed from the options bar.
