OK, I love my Rovio, but the small poorly lit video image leaves a bit to be desired. Please call me when telepresence robots can send back this kind of immersive imagery:

    I I had to make this I would use a bunch of cheap Digi cams in a 360 arc and trigger them al at once .

    Look in to How the matrx was filmed ,, thats the idea ..

    From what I rmemeber I they use a Rail with like 100 Webcams and triggerd them all at once ...

    Could be based on what Google is using for their Street Maps, although they are just one plane.

    If you look closely, you'll see it's the same two guys pasted into the background. It's a fun effect, though. roll.gif

    there are lenses available for SLR cameras that can take a complete 360 picture. they use a mirror infront of the lense then computer software to dewarp the picture after the fact. last i looked cost about $600 for a Nikon Mount.
