Ever have two pieces seemly unrelated pieces of something and finally realize that they fit together perfectly?

Recently Parallax did a direct link to the handful of Propeller projects we've been able to wrangle Hackday into posting
in the last year. (For some reason they seem to be very ardunio slanted) It looked great seeing them listed one right
after another. Recently I acquired PROPELLERPOWERED.COM tighten the focus with many Propeller software projects
that were collecting at warrantyvoid.us. Not having a solid focus for the homepage, I pretty much linked it up to
the UPE and gaming engine stuff a few of us have been working on at the Savage Circuits forum.

Finally two ideas found a way to connect to themselves from the right and left sides of my brain.. DUH..

As of today, PropellerProjects.com is to become a new portal for Propeller Specific Projects, in addition to
the existing projects which we are already working on such as the gaming engine and UPEs.

I'm still working my way around some of the WordPress learning curves and there are a few more wrinkles to
work out, but I think I've finally hit on the proper homepage for PropellerProwered.com.

Sure, it's slanted toward Propeller, but balance in the force is now restored. [noparse]:)[/noparse]

    I didn't want to post what is a simple site advertisement in the Propeller forum. Too much "serious" propeller stuff for that there.

    @OBC,

    That is a great use for the domain! Certianly, 'visibility' for projects is important. The forums are a steady stream of good content, so I am sure there will be plenty to post.

    You might want to link to the Propeller Wiki on the site though.

    If I can just find where to set the Parallax font (if found) to be used for the Heading I'll have it pretty much the way I want things.
    Any Wordpress experts here?

    Don't know if you have the ability or not to add "Sub categories" on your links section, but there are quite a few sites like GadgetGangster (uController.com, RaysLogic.com, Mikronauts.com) that you could add.

    Maybe you could start a "featured sites" category for posts, and post their site (with a little info) on each.
    That way, if/when another great site pops up (or someone's homepage, with a great project), you could post on it.

    @OBC,
    Wordpress probably has plugins that would allow you to add "Digg/FB/Twit This" on the posts, so you might want to see how viable/possible it is to add to your site.
    If not, they are not that difficult to add to a site.

    While they are not Sub Categorized, I've added all of the above to the homepage.
    If someone would appreciate a link, send it over and I'll add it.

    You can post your message on the Propeller Forum as well. We've been very lax lately about things that also serve to educate more people. I know for a fact that many who read the Propeller forum don't really keep up on the Sandbox and visa-versa.
