DC motor control

Hi i want to control two 1/2 Hp DC motors with a Pulse Width Modulator. What i want to do is to control the motors with my computer. Does anyone know of a PWM that would allow me to do so?

What kind of power are we talking Volts, Amps..... Probably you will need to use mosfets.

http://www.parallax.com/StoreSearchResults/tabid/768/txtSearch/hb-25/List/0/SortField/4/ProductID/64/Default.aspx says 1/2hp but depends on motor voltage, etc.

A little more information would be good. What type of software are you using to control the motors?
