i WAS WONDERING IF ANY KNOW HOW TO CLEAR THE MEMORY ON THE DS1620 AND PUT IT BACK IN 3 WIRE COMMUNICATION MODE

    What are the symptoms you need to change? Seems like if you want oneshot you send (12,1)

    Have you read the datasheet for the DS1620? It's always in 3-wire communication mode. The only memory locations are the limit registers for the temperature (high limit and low limit) and the configuration register and there are specific commands for writing to these (see the datasheet).
