If i pull out crystal from operaiting propeller chip ? does it breaks up like a pic chip?

    I've used lots of PICs and have never known them "break up" if the crystal is removed. Some of them can actually detect an oscillator fault and switch to a different oscillator.

    I know if you are providing clock from function generator and remove it will stop running until clock is provided again. Just like hitting pause on your program.

    It will stop running until you reconfigure and reboot, but damage is unlikely.
