About the propeller quick reference guide ...
It could use example code
Developers/Engineers, if you are looking to benchmark something, please benchmark this

This language is so frustrating and I think this would really cut down on that frustration. With a known working example and search feature for key words, you can load that into the propeller tool software, then start tweaking and modifying pieces to it, to see how it affects or breaks the code.

I've been trying to find a thorough, but simple example of an if, elseif, elseif, elseif, elseif, else statement for days and have nothing.
Could all be sorted in an hour or two, with the bonus of you knowing the score, and having nice template code for later!
Are you using the latest Propeller Tool download? It's version 1.2.6.
The manual included has a great breakdown of the various commands, with sample code included.
So, I opened this reference, used the bookmarks on the side to locate if, then using else with if. That got me to page 115, where the following code example exists:
There is also this form, on the same page:
Following this, there is a nice discussion about potential logic traps, and a recommendation to consider the IFNOT form as well.

For some reason on mine when I add a second elseif statement, I can't even compile the code to my eeprom, at least now I have something to go off of, thank you
I've been trying to fool around with some simple blink led code tests, spin is just not intuitive and since the syntax is just not something that makes sense to me, it takes forever to try and guess at what it would be?
