Recommendations on a good RTC for propeller

  Personally I like the PCF8563 - easy to use, and inexpensive.
  
  Most people like the Dallas Semiconductor RTC - they are great too, but I found the PCF8563 and PCF8583 (adds 256 bytes of RAM) to be better for my purposes.

  I've found the one from the prop exchange works great its called "Jm-softrtc"
  It comes with a good demo,,I've made a light (LED) timer with it ,with some help from a great guy in this forum.

  Funny Bill should mention it. I have written a driver for the PCF8583. So far it is working great for me. The newest version however is not compatible with Basic_I2_Driver on the same bus but it's about 20 to 25% faster at raw transfers than the older version.

  the dallas ds1307 rtc is included in the i2cObject v2 in the OBEX

  My choice is FM31L278 (datasheet). It have many additional features and replaces also the 32KB eeprom (fram: unlimited, fast write cycles)
