I have the A/d converter ADC0831 chip and the LM34 temperature sensor. I really don't know how I'm suppose to program the sensor it didn't come with an instruction or sample code. what I really want to do is display that temperature on the 2*16 LCD backlit display purchased from parallax. can anyone set me on the right track?

btw, I'm using the board of education

    Hello,

That sensor is not programmable. It outputs 10mV (IIRC) per degree and you must read that using an ADC. There is an example in the Process Control text available free from our website. Take care.
