Interfacing Parallax products with Java-based web server
I am a graduate student in Computer Science and English.· In my computer networking class, we have to do a term project.· I am thinking of doing a webserver at home that retrieves sensor data and posts it whenever a particular web page is requested.· As for doing a basic webserver in Java, that·is being done in·a current programming·project in class.·
The·concern that relates to this message board is that I wonder if I can interface a Java program running on a Windows machine to a microcontroller attached to that machine?· Could someone provide me with some code examples for both the microcontroller and Java program that would be communicating with it? I currently have a BasicStamp 2 HomeWork board, but would consider·buying another Parallax product (like·a Javelin perhaps) for the collecting of sensor data.
I appreciate your help.
