sir,
where is the photoresistor in parallax professional devevolment board? Guide me.
what is 10k pot in pdb? is it potentiometer or else?

    don't know about the photoresister but pot is the standard short form of potentiometer

    There is no photo-resistor on the PDB. That component is like a transistor or resistor as something you would plug into the breadboard if you wanted to connect it. The tw 10K pots are essentially variable resistors which can also be used a s adjustable voltage dividers. They are located on the far right side of the board. The two are side-by-side. The one above is used for LCD contrast while the one below is used for volume control for the on-board audio amplifier. Take care.
