(All three seasons STOS --- wonder how many Quatloos YouTube had to pay Paramount for *that* licensing fee? :))

I raise one eyebrow and say "Fascinating!"

By the way, I was ashamed that HollyMinkowski figured out your avatar before I did!

Actually, LocalRoger (I think) got it first, but who's counting ? :))

And, don't forget: I confused your avatar's lapel pin for a Templar shield.

So I guess that evens the Avatar Guessing Contest score. tongue.gif

Cool :)

One of my early childhood memories was watching that white ship zoom across the star field.
Funny I don't remember much before that except for the day full of sadness when JFK got shot.
I grew up reading Sci-Fi novels ... Asimov, Niven, Pournelle mostly. Trek inspired it all I guess.

How will I EVER find time for the Propeller now!

Steve, we must be near the same age, as that goes for me too.

These have actually been available for quite some time now at the CBS web site. I haven't watched any of the ones at YouTube, but the quality from CBS is very good.

Ok, guys :) I don't hang out in the Sandbox much ... sorry for the delay.

That would be a SparkFun enclosure with my custom 1MB XMM Propeller board with Keyboard, Mouse, TV, etc.... and on the back SD-CARD or Ethernet with optional VGA. There is also an audio jack on the back, but the sound is terrible ... using a SPI D/A would be better I think. Yes, there are some issues I would like to rework. The XMM is also a little slower than the 40/20pin modules so a re-spin would be in order before I try to produce the box. There is another hardware design I'm considering with a 32 bit Propeller data bus and 28 bit address bus, but haven't had much time to thing about that.

I'm having too much fun writing software to do anything with hardware right now. When I'm finished with the BigSpinVMM and development environment (on hold for now eeek :), I'll need burst-able XMM in a serious way for performance, but my initial goal is to make BigSpin work with EEPROM for projects like the PocketProp where there is no room for parallel SRAM.

I think my internal pre-emptive scheduler needs a little tuning wink.gif
