you can see where I am when I am on long road trips or hiking by going to

aigamez.com/location

anyone have an idea how I can make a digital picture frame that would show a map with my last known location?

Maybe with using something like the Chumby and creating a widget for it.

    www.chumby.com/

Or you could use something like the Propeller based Y-box and the 3.0" inch LCD composite TV device that is sold through Brilldea.

Whatever you use, you'll have to put up the whole webpage and your displaying device will have to have Javascript ability. From looking at the source code, it doesn't appear that there's any easy way to get the raw data. The only thing I could find was on this page (http://topocoding.com/api/getapi_v1.php?key=GYKPGSCMSAOWQBY), which besides expressly prohibiting the mining of the data is also fairly cryptic. I'm pretty sure that's your data, but without any idea how it is arrived (is it encrypted even?), you probably won't be able to figure out what is what.

Fairly cryptic? It just looks like hex ASCII to me. I seriously doubt they've got a legal leg to stand on when they say, "Decoding to plaintext is not permitted." It's practically plaintext as it is!
