XP makes my SX-Key vanish when I try to save SX/B files

Two issues with Windows XP when running SX-Key software.
1.······ If I try to save a SX/B file under a new name, I have 2 seconds to select the new filename, then the SX-Key software vanishes and I lose my work. I’ve experienced this with other software but not as regularly as with SX-Key
2.······ When programming the SX48, the debug window is cut off half way and I can’t access the lower part of the program memory. I have a similar problem when using TinyCAD.
The problem must be with Windows because it affects other programs as well. Does anyone have any advice.
Kind regards from Kwa Dukuza in South Africa,

    John,
I have had problem #1 a couple times. But it is very infrequent. I've not found a reason for it.

I had some problems w/ the SX/B editor and XP64 a couple of months ago. I traced the problem down to "SPYBOT". I not sure if its a windows program or something else.
I discovered the problem when "Bean" posted a screen shot of his SX/B help window, My help window looked nothing like His.As it turned out "SPYBOT" was treating the help window as a unwanted POP-UP and blocked it. I found a ton of other stuff it was blocking too.
I couldn't totally get rid of the "SPYBOT" but I was able to free up most of the stuff it was blocking that I use.

Thanks for that, I'll check it out. the machine is adequately protected against viruses and is addition, it is not connected to the internet.

But there does seem to be some connection with the Help File. It always hahhens when the help file is open.

    Regards

    John
