USB to serial adapter help

· I just got a Boe-Bot cool.gif nd am starting to try and program it.· When I use GUI bot 1.3 I have no problem loading information onto the bot via a USB to serial adapter, but when I try to load code that I have written in BASIC Stamp Editor v2.4 I get an error.·

If anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated.

    I suppose that you had the BS2 turned on, correct?

    Did you try moving the cable (USB?) to another spot? Sometimes I get a problem downloading and a simple move seems to fix it.

    Yeah i have tried moving it all it does is creates a different com port number.

    yeah the BS2 was on.

    Not all USB cables work with the stamps. Which one is yours?

    Well, just to update I have been able to get data to dl but it is touchy at best. Many times I have to repeatly try it and have to disconnect and reconnect many times.
