I have to agree. Please remove this "JUNK". I come to the parallax fourm to interact with people who enjoy electronics, not to see who has the best offer for junk I would never want. and if this is going to be the norm, I think·I might not be the only one not to come back to the fourm. So please remove this Parallax.

I dont think anyone gets used to it. I recived a PM about the "report this post" icon, to tell you the truth I never knew about it. I do blame the bad sales people that think "put our junk in the peoples eyes to get that 1% of sales" my boss is like that. and I love it when it all blowes up in his face.

Hello everyone…the SPAM has been removed, though I left this thread simply so I could address the issue of SPAM with you. Parallax’s policy is that we do not allow such advertising to exist on the forums. I have noticed the majority of it is posted during weekends and especially during a holiday. This is because the spammers do not expect anyone will be available to remove these posts during those times. The longer it stays up the better for them. For many of us the very fact that they are violating the guidelines of use of these forums is enough for us to boycott the company/product being advertised. This means that in many cases the spam has the opposite effect. Rather than drawing more customers it pushes some away.
Now, I must apologize…typically we have weekend monitoring of the forums and support mail, however this weekend my system was experiencing some issues related to our wireless system and I was not able to get back on here until this morning. This member had posted 6 times. All posts have been removed and their account locked. I know it won’t make you feel better, but the spammers even spam us through the very system designed to report posts to us moderators. This morning my inbox had about 20 reports regarding this spammer, but I had to sift those from the over 100 Forum Alerts that were spam. Until we have better software we’ll simply have to keep going as we are. We’ll deal with the spam as quickly as we can. Thanks everyone for reporting it. That helps as I get the e-mails faster than I can read through all the messages. Take care.

In addition to the E-mail links in the post, their website lists a yahoo e-mail account. I would encourage Parallax to report them all.
