Since Parallax took the time to recognize Forum members that have been the most helpful, I thought it only fitting to recipercate.

A big "Thank You" to :

1) Chris Savage
2) Andy Linsay
3) Steph Lindsay
4) Beau Schwabe
5) Dave Andreae
6) Paul Baker

A special thanks to all the people behind the scenes from marketing to shipping and everything in between.

AND the person with the vision, and expertize to bring all these fine people together.... Chip Gracey

It may sound like a$$ kissing, but to tell the truth, you guys deserve it.

Charlie Johnson

Oh wow, thank you so much for your kind words Charlie Johnson!

I will make sure they reach everyone here, especially those working behind the scenes as they aren't always remembered and don't have the opportunity to make frequent forum visits.

Speaking of "those working behind the scenes as they aren't always remembered and don't have the opportunity to make frequent forum visits." Where has Chip been during the celebration? he should be on the top of the "Special Recognitions Awards", for without Chip, there would be no Parallax!

Chip needs a big round of applause!

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for your kind comments here, and in the past.

Parallax would not be what it is today without the following:

    1) the efforts of our dedicated and hard-working staff

    which results in:

    2) great products and services that are exciting to both our staff and customers alike

    which brings about:

    3) fantastic customers and fans that are happy to share their successes with us

    with leads to:

    4) re-energizing our hard-working staff.· (Repeat steps 1 through 4 endlessly.)

I have noticed this cycle over and over again during the many years I have worked for Parallax and·I must say it is one of the most critical and cherished things we experience.· It is·the constructive feedback·from customers that keeps us going and reminds us why we work so hard.· We thrive on providing great products and services and the empowering and inspiring effects that it has on you, our customer.

THANK YOU, PARALLAX CUSTOMERS, FOR TELLING US WHAT WE ARE DOING RIGHT AS WELL AS WHAT WE'RE DOING WRONG!· Please keep it up so that we can continue to improve and grow.·

THANK YOU, PARALLAX STAFF, FOR REMAINING SO COMMITTED AND FOCUSED ON THE IMPORTANT THINGS!· Please keep it up so that our customers can continue to·thrive.

Well said Jeff, As a customer from New Zealand I look forward to your products and new lines, Also the quick response time from staff and members when asking a question. Some questions may seem trivial, But 98% of the time they are answered here. We do have an agent here in New Zealand but they do not stock enough items and it takes to long to get them so I deal direct with you guys.
Just to let you know the competition was great fun and you guys must have had a ball as well judging them. Thanks again.

Let's make this International - Thanks from Darkest Africa as well.

I've sometimes thought why is Parallax so successful in your chosen field...

Yes the people are amazing, in my case...
    - Terry Hitt
    - PJMonty
    - Guenther Daubach
    - Jonny Mac

But its a lot more (and also a lot less) than the amazing work these people do. It's a shared vision. Devise amazing products and services that excite us the customers. In marketing, they refer to this as "selling the sizzle, not the steak".

Who would have thought of buying the Scenic SX from Ubicom when it obviously couldn't compete against the mighty Microchip and breath amazing new life into it through SX/B, diversified product range like the $9.00 protoboard, good support and documentation.

Who would have thought of jumping on the multicore bandwagon, not with the two processors but with the propeller 32 bit with the cog of 8 processors.

And one could go on endlessly….

Here’s to the person or people with that vision, and the ability to get others to share the vision. Even us customers seem to share parts of that vision!!! I assume it’s Chip.

Hearty thanks to the man or men with the vision.

    John Bond
