Speakjet vs SoundGin

Hello-
Wanting to add speech synthesis to my project...has anyone used one or both of these chips and can tell me which is better?
I think the SoundGin sounds better but seems harder to use (http://si.fileburst.com/SoundginDatasheet.pdf) than the SpeakJet (http://www.magnevation.com/pdfs/speakjetusermanual.pdf)
I'm pretty lost here...
Thanks
Rafael

It will depend on whether you want better sound or easier setup. Which is more important to you?

In my opinion, one of the best speech·quality·products available·is the V-Stamp module·from RC Systems.· I have tried many speech synthesis chips and modules and I feel that this is one of the best.· The product is easy to use, very versitile·and not very expensive either.· I am not affiliated with the company, just a happy customer.

Here is a link to the demo page, take a listen and see what you think:

    Hi all-
Tim-M: The quality is indeed very nice, however since I'm planning on constructing several PCB's, $42/chip is a little much for me. My design is a surface mount (although I could add a DIP).
Franklin: I'd rather value better sound, since there is a (very remote) possibility that these things could find their way on to the market.
Do you guys know if there are more extensive (voice) samples for the two chips I mentioned? I can't seem to find any other than the ones on the respective company websites.
    Thanks
    Rafael
