Propeller sound demo?

I found this video on YouTube:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA8sq_7nYlE

In this video, the propeller plays some interesting sounds, like voices and instruments. But I didn't find something like this on the Hydra CD. Does it only work on the first Propeller Kit or is there some way to run this sound demo on my Hydra?

There are some threads that Chip started on his experimentation with voice synthesis. I don't have the links handy, but they'd be on the Propeller forum section. These were written for the stereo sound DAC on the Propeller Demo Board. You could modify the programs to use the monaural sound DAC on the Hydra board (which uses different I/O pin numbers as well), but I don't think anyone has done that so far. There is a different Hydra Sound System (HSS) that was written to help in producing game sounds for the Hydra. It has some nice capabilities. You should find it here in the Hydra forum section.

I didn't hear anything in the video that was out of the ordinary for the sounds. At what time on the video do you hear the sound demo that you can't find?

At 0:56 some interesting music starts (played by the simple propeller board). I just wonder if this demo is somewhere on the Hydra CD.
