I am trying to optimize the text in the Best Threads index so that my sub notes won't·reduce the readability of the links. Knowing the most popular screen resolution would help out a lot. TY

640 x 480
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1152 x 864
1280 x 960
1600 x 1200
Single monitor
Dual monitors

I use 1024 x 768 and dual monitors ( I was just curious about the monitors)

Well, 640x480 is just about dead as far as web pages are designed.

800x600 is the reccomended beginning resolution for designing a web page.

But smile.gif most monitors support 1024x768 so you can go from there..

For what it may be worth, I think I run 1024 x 768 at home and 1280 x 1024 at work.

    Also...
1.) I do not like to be required to run my web browser full screen.
2.) I would much rather have to scroll down than ever scroll across!

Those are my opinions. If your's differ then they are wrong! wink.gif
    (Just kidding!)

I have a wide screen 19" monitor at home that is at 1440 x 920·(not sure about the 9x0 something). At work it's 1280 x1024 on my Dell standard monitor for my laptop.

    Thank you guys,

I am planning on adding more sub-notes to all the threads to give a quick synopsis of the main points presented. I feel that titles are just not enough and I wanted the text to display as close to the intended format as possible
