Does anyone know where I can find or even make an inexpensive valve for liquids. it needs to be food (drink) safe, as it will be used for a bar tending projecting I'm working on. the closest thing I can find is soda heads but even used they start at about $25.00+ and have a lot of extra hardware I don't want. I need them to be electronically actuated and need ID to be at least .375 in. Dia. The can't be made of either brass or copper as it's toxic when used with soda. thanks for any help

Dave

How about rigging up a mechanism that will pinch a section of FDA-approved flexible tubing?

They are reasonably priced. You should beadle to find a solenoid valve that will fit your needs.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think of irrigation valves. they are way over sized for what I need however. but if I can't find anything that might be a good solution. I'm going to play around with a solenoid pinching off some surgical tubing and see if I can get it to seal and release. thanks for the help
