Problem with LCD AppMod

I am having a problem with a newly purchased LCD Terminal AppMod.

I am using a USB BOE with a Javelin module. I install the AppMod so that it lays over the breadboard on the BOE and load the LCD AppMod Demo java file into the IDE. The Javelin appears to program correctly with no errors but nothing is displayed on the LCD.

Am I installing the LCD incorrectly? The BOE/Javelin works fine with my serial LCD and I can run other applications successfully.

Any ideas what is wrong?

    Hello,

The LCD Terminal AppMod is not supposed to connect that way. There is a mounting hole to the left of the board that should line up with the standoff included with the display. That is the only way the board will connect where you can still install the standoff. I hope this helps. Take care.

Thanks, that solved the problem. Didn't notice the additional mounting hole. Do you'll have the App Mod mounting documented or are you'll doing away with them?

Well I don’t see them disappearing completely…The thing is we’ve found customers prefer more universal connections on our accessories. Glad you got it working. Take care.
