Not pleased with Spark Fun, and Jameco is out of the MAX 6675 chips I would like to buy? Is there anybody else on the West Coast?

    Mouser and DigiKey are two that are in the Midwest that have good service and webstores. Mouser has a branch office in El Cajon, CA.

    I don't disagree


    This isn't the place to bad mouth vendors like Spark Fun. In their defense, they were very willing to make it right (as any good vendor would).
    I made the choice to go somewhere else instead.

    You can purchase straight from maxim i think, Maxim were kind enough to supply me with 5 of them as a sample [noparse]:)[/noparse]
