  Graham,
  Looks like a nice little unit.
  It wasn't available when I was looking for the vdrive, so I got the VDIP1 instead.
  It's doesn't have a nice housing like that but it works great and you can add an additional usb port.
  Please let us know how it works out.

  Looks nice !! when will you try it ?? which interface will you use for that ?? I'm not sure, but if I don't remember well, the VDRIVE2 module hasn't FIFO mode ?

  Alberto, it only allows UART and SPI, I will probably use SPI.
  
  I have the dip version as well, I know you want someone to test the speed but I doubt it will be me, sorry.

  It's OK Graham, I just finished my PCB board with a VDIP1 and a SD socket.
  Like I never have enought time for all I must to do, another user experience is usefull too, don't leave to share yours !!
