Have anybody tried to use the UB232R usb interface to program the Prop? (http://apple.clickandbuild.com/cnb/shop/ftdichip?op=catalogue-products-null&prodCategoryID=58&title=UB232R) I just realized that it lacks the DTR line...

    Hi Henrik

Have not personally used that device but as you mentioned it lack the DTR signal which is needed.
Use a Propplug or USB2SER device both from Parallax .. see their website

The chip outputs the signal, they just didnt do anything with it. If you're proficient at soldering SMT, you might be able to attach some wirewrap wire to pull the signal off. I'd dont recommend doing this unless you know what you are doing.

I strongly recommed the Prop Plug, we designed it to work with the Propeller, it includes the same chip as on the module you already have, but it has capacitivly coupled the DTR line and has a transitor buffer to generate the required reset signal.
