usb to i2c newbie question

I'm attempting to find a way where a computer application can move servo motors(actually not servos just forward/backward moving motors) I need the computer to be able to tell these two motors when to move and what direction to move. Any suggestions on how to interface the computer to the motors? From what I've read I'm thinking that maybe a usb to i2c board might be what I need but I'm not sure. Any info would be appreciated.
thanks,

You could use the parallax servo controller that uses usb. http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=28823

Now it you dont want to control servos but actuall motors, add the HB-25. http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=29150

Now connect the HB-25 to the Parallax Servo Controller. Use the utility that comes with it and you are controlling motors upt to 1/2 horse and 25 amps.

This is if you are just looking for off the shelf stuff.
