Overall speed of propeller?

This might be a silly question.

I am assuming that if I clock the propeller at 80Mhz, each COG runs 80??

Are all COGS required to run at the same speed?

****EDIT****

Also, I noticed the propstick doesn't come with a heatsink? Can the propeller run at 80Mhz without a heatsink?

thanks!

Yes, all COGs run at the same speed, whether it's 20KHz or 80MHz.
(There's only one clock on the system.)

    Heatsink?

We don't need no steenkin heatsink!
(With all 8 COGs going all out it only consumes 75mA, which means about 200 - 220mW. Not exactly something to heat your livingroom, or fry eggs on...)

I have had this thing since January and half left it on for hours at a time and it doesn't even get warm to the touch running it at 80mhz.
