Power of the Sumobot

Hello,

Is there a way to give my sumobot more power than he has now? During some tests, my sumobot was not strong enough to push another robot.
Of course, I firts should try with fresh batteries. But I want to give the motors an extra boost.
And idea that I have is to connect it to a 9V source. Does the print support this? Or do I need to connect only the motors to a higher volt source?

thx

With Sumo-Bots, the angle is key. The angle which the bot hits the other bot is important to knocking it over.
I don't think using a 9-volt battery will help at all. It might burn out some of your parts.

9 volt batteries will significantly reduce the life of the servos.· If it's a 9 volt transistor battery it wouldn't even have enough current capability to be worth doing that.

Replace the servos with more powerful high performance versions.
