·· Sorry to crush any hopes of using the message number from the URL, but that doesn't accurately report the total number of posts.· That number keeps going up, always.· Yet many posts are deleted.· The 100,000th poster will be based on 100,000 posts in the database.·· And nobody but IT Guy knows what that is...

I am absolutely not one to try to game the system, but if I add up all the posts that are shown on the main page, I only get to 95920 posts... this would indicate that we are still over 4,000 posts away from the magic number. Just out of curiosity, what does the 95920 represent if it is not the total number of posts? By the way, please forfeit my prize if I just happen to be the 100,000th post since this should not qualify as a legitimate post!
I too am very sorry for slowing the wheels of Parallax Progress for such meaningless and pointless dribble. Chris - please accept my humble and sincere appologies.

Adding the posts as described above by Steve includes the "Archive" section. Does this count in the count, or are we really only "half way" there...
(Or should I have kept my fat mouth shut. Again. Or maybe Yet/Still.)

Chris (and others from parallax) actually took time from "real" work to answer this stuff. I, for one, feel very guilty and shamed
