Electronic part / component database / inventory software ?

Does anyone know of a free inventory type program to keep a list of electronic components such as IC's, resistor, etc.. I would like to be able to print out a list showing what I have quickly.

Perhaps there is a template in Excel or Word (I have MS Office).. or just a 3rd party free program to print out a list of what I have as my parts are growing weekly.

    This is a samlpe of what I use. A simple Excel spread sheet which you plug all the data in. Its not much but it gets the job done. I Locate all my parts in a small bins that you can buy from Home Depot and I label them all. You just need to copy the page and create it for any other parts you have.

    I did find something similar to this on the Microsoft Office Template website. I will go through both and see which one is the easiest to modify. However, I like how yours has Sheets for each part - easier lookup.
