  Difference is price!
  
  Rail = plastic anti-static tube of chips
  
  If you by them by the "rail" Qty 13, then they are $3.40 each. If you by them individually then they are $4.80
  
  Rail pricing is about $.04 above Parallax's 5000 qty pricing.

  thats what i assumed but i dont like basing large orders on assumptions.
  i think the word special is what threw me off, or the number 13. or the too good to be true pricing. yeah definately the latter.

  Most definitely a good deal! I need to pick some up before they go off sale, but right now everything that I'm doing on the SX is just over 2k in code space, so the SX proto boards are an excellent value for my use.
