I found a transistor. Can you help me connect it to a 3v motor?

  I found another one. And it's a lot smaller. the code on it is, "C945
  K23C" Is this a transistor?

  NO..... if you connect a 3v motor to the output of the BASIC Stamp you will burn up the I/O pin; motors take much more current than an I/O pin can sink or source.· Scott Edwards wrote a great column for Nuts & Volts a few years back, it will help:
