HDLG-2416 4 digit LED Display Pin numbering
I have a question on a Agilent Tech HDLG-2416 4 digit LED display pin number. The data sheet
only shows pin 1 but does not show a picture of the other pin numbering. I assume that it is the standard counter-clockwise pin numbering ·from pin 1 but the data sheet when it names the pins
has this form;
··· pin·························· ·pin
····· 1···(name)·············· 10· GND
····· 2·· (name)···············11· (name)
····· 3·· (name)···············12· (name)
············· "································· "
····· 9· VDD··· ················18· (name)
These parts cost· $18-$19 a piece so I would like to be sure to get it correct before wiring it up.
I am hoping Paul Baker can come to the rescue again, as after doing a search of the forums
he is the only one I found using them.
Data Sheet

So the question is, do they use the standard pin numbering CCW from pin 1 or is the pin
table in the data sheet the way for pin numbering?
Thanks,
Bob

When in doubt -- ohm it out.·
PJ itSwatIdid, but metering wouldn't have worked on the individual part, my board shows Vdd connected to upper right (across from pin 1) which means its the /BL pin.
