My boebot, and the ability to

Hi guys. I had the idea a few weeks (like, late july :D) ago to put some high intensity LED's onto my bot, Hanz Bricks (think team america for the name), and throwing on the light resistors, and using that to drive around my tent when it is dark. The problem I am getting is that the resistors aren't seeing the reflection of the light off an object. I am using 10k resistors in the light resistor circuit, and have tried a number of diferent surfaces. Any thoughts?
Thanks

you would probably be better off with infrared led's. also, the resistors are probably blocking most of the signal. maybe you should try using 1k resistors instead.

IR would be easier, and that is exactly why it was in the book. I am trying to take it to the next level. That being said, I am going to try the 1k resistors.
