hi everyone, i am new in buliding a robot, and i just got my boebot to do the tennis ball pick up robot project for my class. and i found that the BS2 only has 256 bytes, i wonder if it has enough memory to do my project. i want my robot autonomously go around the court and search the yellow tennis ball and trap it in the basket locate in front of the boebot.

also, can i use CMUCAM for boebot in other DSP such as Taxes instrument c240 microcontroller?

thanks for all your help

Many robot builders are doing exactly as you want to do with a stock BS2 and the CMUCAM. The CMUCAM allows one to look for a specific color and return the coordinates of the center of that color -- you simply steer toward it. Let me say I haven't done this myself, but I have seen it done. You don't need a DSP; the CMUCAM has plenty of brains (SX micro) built in.
