What projects has everyone used there basic stamps for? I am new to
basic stamp and wondering what they are capible of.

    Anything that does not require "true" interrupts.

    Slot car lap counters
    Door closing speed meters
    Paint gun bullet velocity detectors
    Single cylinder engine controllers

    The list goes on and on and on and on.....

    The real beauty of the Stamp is the ease in writing programs to sense the
    state of an input or control the state of an output.
