555 & pwm ?
I am using a 556ic to take the pulse width load off
my stamp. the project uses a miniature potentiometric
joystick to control a dc motor. my problem is that the
joystick starts at 100k ohms near the center at rest
position, and then reduces resistance to 600 ohms at
full travel. In other words, my motor starts at full
speed and then slows down in relation to how far I
push the joystick. I would like to have the
conventional "farther-faster" feel. The joystick ties
pin 13 (discharge) to 12v etc. The circuit works
properly except it's backwards. Anyone have any
thoughts how to reverse this situation?

backwards. When I actually hooked a motor to the circuit it works as
planned. Duh.
