StampBug 2
I am interested as to whether any other forum members have built or programmed the StampBug 2. This is a hexapod robot, with whisker object detection, available from a UK company, Milford Instruments.·They are a main Parallax distributor in the UK but in this robot they use·their own BS2 clone, the School Stamp 2, see: http://www.milinst.com
I have just taken delivery of the kit and will let the forum know how I find its construction. It is supplied with a basic walking and object avoidance program but still has several spare Stamp pins for add-ons.
Any info, especially on later add-ons, would be welcomed.

Yes I have also a stamp-bug2. I found it a good primer for working with robottics & the basic stamps...
They do use the BS2, but an OEM version - I believe they have put some extra "safety" bits on to make it less easy to blow up!
I have moved on and up to using the javalin stamp!
