Does ULN2803A Darlington Array required a power supply. I use ULN2803A Darlington Array to rotate a 5V stepper motor. I connected ULN2803A Darlington Array's ground to universal ground and I did not connect ULN2803A to a supply. My 5V stepper motor work even though ULN2803A does not have a power supply. The info on parallax's website (http://www.parallax.com/dl/docs/cols/nv/vol1/col/nv6.pdf) show that it has a power supply pin. I don't know if I should connect positive power to ULN2803A. I guess ULN2803A use 5V because my motor use 5V.

no.. but pin 10 should to tied to +V motor to use flyback diode inside to protect driver from back EMF from inductive load..

You are saying I should connect pin 10 to +5V. Right?
