There are some Eval Style Header Accessories that maybe you want a bit away from P2 board.
IDC cable makes it easy...
The usual IDC cables have female on both sides, so need a double ended header for Accessory side.
Didn't have one of those so soldered two singles together to make it work...
This will be particularly useful for Arducam interface being worked on, but maybe others as well...

Yeah IDC cables still come in handy for P2 header use in a pinch without a board connected directly. In the past I've made good use of these to wire stuff up for prototyping or testing. Just need to be mindful of pin order and which side they come in from and any cable flips - that still gets me from time to time.
