Hi everyone,
I’m completely new to microcontrollers and embedded development, and I joined this forum to learn from people who actually know what they’re doing.
I’ve always been curious about how hardware works behind the scenes—things like sensors, drivers, PWM, and small controller boards—but I’m still at a beginner level.
For now, I’m mostly reading and trying to understand the discussions here. The level of knowledge in this community is impressive, and I’m hoping to slowly build up my skills by following along, asking simple questions, and trying small experiments.
Happy to be here and looking forward to learning from all of you!

Learn the transistor, at least in a simple way. The world of schematics opens up on the back of transistors.
Looking it up myself, I see an excellent read on the topic at SparkFun. It does a good job of describing the behaviour without drowning in band gaps: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/transistors/all
Read it slowly. Do one section a day.
Sadly, it is missing a section covering the MOSFET. If it had that it'd be complete.
