Solidworks Maker for $24/year
Signed up for this, it's a great deal.
It looks just like the Professional SolidWorks that I use at work...
Only problem is that you can't make more that $2000 a year...
But, the verbage isn't entirely clear... Is this profit or sales?
It's $24 for first year, and then $48 for later years...

Never trust subscription software discounts - they want to get you hooked on their software (and get your work caught up in their proprietary formats), so they can crank the price later.
This is exactly why I stopped using Adobe products (as well as some others). My generation grew up listening to music on vinyl (some 8-tracks). Then when that wore out, we had to purchase it again on cassette tape. Then when those wore out (or got eaten by the deck), we purchased them again on CD. These days you're basically renting the music via iTunes or whatever.
Same with software. Because of Windows 11, those of us who use Windows 10 have an option to "pay" to keep using it if we want security updates.
Wuerfel_21 is RIGHT !
I'd say never trust subscription software, period.
It only looks good at face value (and that only sometimes). Read the fine print before committing or stay clear of it if possible. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble by doing so.
Or, since it's too late for giving advice now, maybe share your experience wit it after a while....
Hello!
I've got a sub for Adobe. and I only use it to sometimes create those things. Most of the time its to manage the ones from the Web. As for music, it seems a goodly amount of Classical was never ported over to Digital formats.
Of course this doesn't explain why there's a Bigfoot wandering all over the Parallax campus. Or a convoy of bots heading down to visit their maker in a corner of CA.
And no mascot was involved in the creation of this post.
I use FreeCad, which actually is free. And now it's in a state, where it doesn't create more head scratching then the Propeller.. I does anything you want and includes a Python console to create all types of solutions, which eventually go to the release.
I used FreeCAD through it's Beta...I think I need to re-learn it a bit now that they've updated it. Digikey has a series of tutorials on it. I finally have a very nice 3D printer now, so getting back to FreeCAD again.
