  Be brave. Be decisive. Make your wish come true. There are far worse ways to spend the money and I name none of these here. It's just money you'll spend anyway so ....

  Tempting. I could afford the PDP-11/70 replica ... but the divorce settlement would ruin me.

  Well, if you go carefully about it you could keep the PDP-11/70 replica and a happy wife.

  Here is how I'd do it.
  I'd first tell a story to my wife of how terrible would it be if my hobby was wives. A grim, dark story. Then I'd tell her how great would it be if, instead of that, I'd spend some time quietly in a shack or a basement, playing with this PDP toy. A bright, colorful story this time.

  I'd probably get that PDP-11/70 replica as a gift from my wife next week with a big smile on her happy face and no divorce in sight any time soon.
